    There are two trailheads. You'll start at one and finish at the other depending on whether you're going clockwise or counterclockwise. I recommend you do the hike counterclockwise to avoid steep grades upward in the more exposed sections of the ridge. Neither direction is too bad though.

    This is a great hike, one of the best I've done. Did the route opposite to most others, went counter clockwise, don't regret my decision. Had a long walk out at the end rather than the start.

    One of the best reward-to-effort ratio hikes I've done. Beautiful hike from car to car.

    I recommend doing the loop clockwise. That way you go up the firm steep side and down the softer side with more scree to slow you down
